The YIN is administrated by an office of three people. We strive for diversity across disciplines, institutes, and gender. The office is elected for one year by the YIN assembly.

Three YIN members that are also researchers of the Excellenc Cluster "Quantum Universe" represent the YIGs in the "Early Career Council". The YIG council members are elected for one year by the YIN-QU assembly. The speaker of the "Early Career Council" (YIG) is a member of the QU steering board.
